IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING
By completing a ticket purchase on CNTA, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
Key things to know upfront:
⚠️ Tickets are generally non-refundable.
A 12-hour review window exists — see Section 4.⚠️ CNTA is the ticketing platform, not the event organiser.
Event quality and cancellations are the organiser’s responsibility.⚠️ If an event is cancelled, refund decisions are made by the organiser, not CNTA.
1. Who You’re Buying From
When you purchase a ticket on cnta.company, you are entering into a transaction for access to an event organised by a third-party event organiser. CNTA Company acts as the ticketing agent – we list the event, process your payment, and issue your ticket on the organiser’s behalf.
CNTA is not the event organiser. We are not responsible for the content, quality, safety, or delivery of the event itself. That responsibility sits entirely with the organiser.
This is consistent with our obligations under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, Chapter 261 of Brunei Darussalam, and we operate transparently so you can make an informed decision before purchasing.
2. Your Ticket
Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a digital ticket to your registered email address. This is your proof of purchase and your entry pass.
- Tickets are valid for the specific event, date, time, and venue shown.
- Tickets may not be resold or transferred without the organiser’s written consent.
- Keep your ticket safe – lost or forwarded tickets remain your responsibility.
- CNTA and event organisers reserve the right to verify tickets at entry. Invalid or duplicated tickets may be refused.
- Tickets purchased through unauthorised third parties may not be honoured.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices are displayed in Brunei Dollars (BND) and include any applicable fees at checkout. There are no hidden fees added after the fact.
Payment is processed securely by our licensed payment gateway. CNTA does not store your full card details.
Your payment goes to CNTA Company’s account, and we disburse the net amount to the event organiser shortly after the event takes place.
4. Refund Policy
Default position: All ticket sales are non-refundable.
We make this clear upfront in compliance with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act, Chapter 261, which requires refund policies to be clearly disclosed before a transaction is completed.
The 24-Hour Review Window: If you made an error, you may submit a refund request within 12 hours of your purchase by emailing refunds@cnta.company. Include your order number and reason.
- Requests within this window are reviewed case-by-case and are not automatically approved.
- Refunds will not be processed for events that have already taken place, regardless of when you purchased.
- Processing time for approved refunds: 3–5 business days depending on payment method.
After 24 Hours: Requests made more than 24 hours after purchase must be directed to the event organiser. CNTA will provide you with the organiser’s contact details on request. CNTA cannot process refunds after this window has closed.
After the Event: No refunds will be issued once the event has taken place under any circumstances.
5. Event Changes, Cancellations, and Postponements
Events are organised and managed by independent third parties. CNTA is not responsible for changes made by organisers.
If an event is cancelled:
- CNTA will notify all ticket holders using the contact details provided at checkout.
- Refund decisions for cancelled events are at the organiser’s discretion. CNTA will direct you to the organiser for all refund requests arising from cancellations.
- CNTA bears no financial liability for cancelled events.
If an event is postponed:
- CNTA will notify you with the new date and any venue changes.
- Your ticket remains valid for the new date unless the organiser states otherwise.
- If you cannot attend the new date, contact the organiser directly to discuss options.
If an event details change (time, venue, lineup):
- CNTA will communicate changes as soon as we are notified by the organiser.
- CNTA is not responsible for changes to event content made after your purchase.
6. Your Personal Data
When you purchase a ticket, we collect your name, email address, phone number and payment information to process your booking and deliver your ticket.
We share your name, email, and ticket details with the event organiser so they can manage entry to their event. This is necessary to fulfil your booking.
We do not sell your data. Your data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy at cnta.company and in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Order 2025 of Brunei Darussalam.
7. Attending the Event
By attending an event booked through CNTA, you agree to:
- Follow all venue rules and the instructions of event staff
- Conduct yourself respectfully toward other attendees, staff, and performers
- Accept that some events may involve photography or video recording, and that you may appear in such material unless the organiser states otherwise
CNTA has no control over venue rules, security decisions, or entry conditions set by the organiser or venue. Denied entry by the organiser or venue is not grounds for a refund from CNTA.
8. Limitation of Liability
CNTA’s responsibility to you is limited to:
- Processing your payment correctly
- Issuing your digital ticket
- Communicating event updates to the best of our ability
CNTA is not liable for:
- The quality, safety, or delivery of the event
- Actions or decisions of the event organiser or venue
- Technical issues outside our platform (device problems, email delivery delays, etc.)
- Any loss or inconvenience arising from event cancellation, postponement, or changes
In all cases, our financial liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for your ticket.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (Chapter 261) and the Electronic Transactions Order.
Any disputes shall be subject to Brunei jurisdiction. Where possible, we encourage resolution through direct communication before escalating to formal proceedings.
